Dores Tech is a family-run company out of Merced, California, led in person by owner Frank Dores and trusted in some of the Central Valley's finest custom homes.
Who we are
Dores Tech was built on a simple standard: install it like it is going on our own home. That standard grew one craft into five, and today we design lighting, audio, networking, camera, and automation systems for custom homes across the Central Valley.
We stayed deliberately small in the ways that matter. Frank leads a tight crew of full-time installers, attends every appointment himself, and prices every project as a whole job after walking the property in person. No call centers, no subcontracted strangers in your yard.
The result is work we are proud to be judged by: award-winning installs on high-end custom homes, and systems that run every evening for years without a second thought.

The owner shows up
Frank walks every property, designs every plan, and is on site for every install. When you call Dores Tech, you are not routed to a sales department. You talk to the person whose name is on the work.
Design before hardware
We never sell a package off a shelf. Every system starts with your architecture, your landscape, and how you live outside, then the right equipment is chosen to serve that design.
Product we stand behind
We install professional lines we trust: AMP Lighting fixtures, where we serve on the product advisory panel, and Origin Acoustics audio. Lighting labor and equipment carry a lifetime warranty.
Finished means finished
Wiring concealed, fixtures hidden, trees and beds pruned so the light falls the way the design intended. We do not leave until the view from the street is right.
